[NIGHT CROWS, the Ultimate Tokenomics]

A WEB3 blockchain economy is formed based on its WEB2 in-game economy. The two economic ecosystems interconnect, circulate, and expand with "Tokens" connecting the two. Meaning that, a good game with a well-functioning in-game economy meeting blockchain would lead to an increase in the fun and scope of the game, as well as the size of the in-game economy. In the end, this would result in an excellent game.

Having officially launched in April 2023 in the Republic of Korea, NIGHT CROWS has created consistent results that included becoming the top grossing game in both Google Play and Apple App Store. These results proved not only the degree of completeness that it has achieved as a game, but also that based on variety and stability of the in-game economy.

Added to that, it also put in place a "Multi-Utility Token" policy to overcome the intrinsic limits of tokenomics based on existing single-mining structures with single tokens. And to circumvent the limits placed on long-term growth by direct interference between the in-game economy and the blockchain economy, it adopted a "Tokenization of Game Assets Based on Added Value" policy. By taking these initiatives, the global service of NIGHT CROWS is able to present a more stable and evolved type of Play and Earn tokenomics.

vDIA refers to Value Added DIA, the Diamonds that may be obtained from trading through the in-game Exchange and as rewards for carrying out requests.

Token:Material Item Exchange Ratio refers to the amount of material items necessary to mint a token, and is the same as the amount of items given for exchanging each token by burning it.

Once the amount of a token reaches its Max Supply, minting will be ceased for that token. When some of a token that has reached its maximum supply issued is burned in the game, the amount of the token that has been burned can be minted.

Circulation of Tokens Through Minting, Trading, and Burning

In NIGHT CROWS, tokens go through a series of processes starting from users obtaining material items in the game, to minting them into tokens, which are then traded on the blockchain network, before they are exchanged back to items in the game and burned. Like this, tokens in NIGHT CROWS connect, circulate, and expand the in-game economy and the blockchain economy.

  • Minting of tokens in NIGHT CROWS is available in the "TOKEN" game menu. (Character level 45 or above)
  • For each token to be minted, an amount of material items according to the exchange ratio, as well as a set amount of vDIA for the minting fee, are required.
  • Material items are given added value through gameplay. DIA can only be minted through vDIA acquired through the in-game Exchange and as rewards for carrying out requests. Material items for other tokens can only be minted into tokens from “tradable" items.
  • The minting fee, paid with vDIA, is required for the minting of tokens. The base fee rate for the token minting fee is 5%, and the minting fee is calculated using the formula below.

    CROW Token Minting Fee: 4 vDIA, which is 5% of 80, the exchange ratio of the minting material item vDIA

    Minting Fees of Other Tokens: vDIA equivalent to 5% of the average trading price in the last day (24 hours) of that token in PNIX DEX

    (For example, if the average trading price for FEATHER in the last day was 13.00 CROW, 5% of that would be 0.65 CROW, meaning that 52 vDIA (0.65 CROW * 80 vDIA) would be the minting fee of FEATHER for that day)

  • For the stability of the price of each token, minting for each token will be temporarily ceased once it satisfies certain conditions.

    The CROW token is equipped with its own PSM (Peg Stability Module), which enables the minting of the token to be ceased until its price returns to the stabilized range once the average market price of CROW for the last 24 hours drops below $0.75 on WEMIX PLAY GameFi.

    All 7 types of tokens, including the CROW token, each have their own Max Supply restrictions. Once the supply of a token reaches its Max Supply, minting will be ceased for that token. Minting will be resumed when some of that token is burned and its supply drops below its Max Supply.
